Peter Graf
Peter Graf has over 30 years of experience as a software developer. He wrote the first web server for the New York Times while working at WAIS, Inc. in San Francisco, and was co-founder of the Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) company blaxxun Interactive (Munich/San Francisco). Since 2018 he has been collaborating with his artist wife Tamiko Thiel on augmented reality projects under the artist name /p. He developed a custom geolocative AR app for their Whitney Museum commission “Unexpected Growth,” which is now in the collection. He has now released that app as the open source AR platform ARpoise, which he is extending to provide geolocative, image trigger and SLAM AR. He will support and maintain the AR app for the Hidden Histories project.
